My Wife Had a Dream -
My wife had a dream to start a therapeutic riding program for children with autism. To realize her dream, we needed to
find a farm…a very specific farm in size and scope, but this farm also needed to fall within a rather tight budget. We had
used several different real estate agents in our search across the state of Maryland before we met Janice Duty. 

Jance impressed us immediately with her knowledge of the Eastern Shore in Maryland and even more with her knowledge of
Queen Anne's County. We told Janice about my wife's dream and the farm that we were searching for after we had looked at
our first property on the shore.? After a very short period of time, Janice called us and said, "I have a farm that you have just
got to see." We were a little uneasy at first because the farm was quite a bit out of our budget. Janice urged us to go see it anyway
stating that "sometimes things just have a way of working out," in that almost southern but very distinctive Eastern Shore drawl
that makes you feel quite "at home".                                                                                                                                                        

To state that Janice has a wealth of knowledge of the area is an understatement. Everyone we have talked to since who knows
Janice tells of everyone she knows and how much she knows of the area. Janice stayed on top of the deal and made very good and
sound suggestions. We also were able to stay within our budget. We are positive that if she were not the agent brokering this deal,
the deal would not have happened.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Since we have bought our farm, we have begun our 501c3 charity known as Chesapeake Victories. On the farm that Janice helped
us buy, we have been fortunate enough to help many  developmentally challenged children and their families. Janice helped make
my wife?s dream possible. She has stayed in touch and  even has assisted us in our efforts. To say that Janice Duty is or was our real
estate agent would also be an understatement. She is a neighbor. And as they say on the Eastern Shore, "Neighbors do for each other."
